Description
This little collection will serve the needs of beginning players. One verse of each Easter hymn is provided. All pieces are in simple meter and include some dotted eighth-sixteenth note combinations. The range is from F above middle C to the F above the staff.
The collection opens with the celebratory, Crown Him with Many Crowns. Were You There is simple but plaintiff and would be a lovely addition to a Good Friday service. Numbers 3 and 4 could be played uninterrupted as a great way to celebrate Easter morning as the congregation sings. The songs with their keys are:
Crown Him With Many Crowns, C
Were You There, F
Christ Arose, C
Christ the Lord is Risen Today, C
